Today Ty is moving into our home with me, my husband, and our son Steven. We had a long talk with my son about this, and then we had a long talk with Ty, and her mother about this. Ty will have her own room here, and my husband and I have expressed our wishes to the kids about not having sex under our roof, but they are adults and all I can do is hope the respect our wishes. We also told Steven and Ty that on school nights they cannot be in each other’s room after 10pm, so Ty can get plenty of rest for school. I have some concerns about letting here live here, I have never even let one of Steven’s girlfriends ever stay the night with us before let alone live with us, but from my understanding it’s not big deal for Ty and her family.

According to Ty her mother has been letting the girls boyfriends stay the night at their house since they were 14 in the girls room. Oh and about the whole still being in school at age 20, I found out that while they lived in Tennessee, Ty did not go to school like she was suppose to and her mother did not make her, even though Kay has told me that she did try to make Ty go to school. Anyway the state intervened and Ty and Kay was taking to court and a long story short, Ty was put into Juvenile Hall for a weekend for her past behavior concerning school, and for her current behavior toward the Judge, once released she was on probation, and Ty was monitored and made sure she was attending school. However, her previously not attending school put her back a year or two causing her to be 20 years old when she graduates.

My son Steven Wells started dating this new girl named TyAnne that he has been going on about for weeks. We met her today and she is a pretty young lady who is 20 yrs old, and moved here to Newton County with her mother, step-dad, and her half sister last year from Clarksville, Tennessee. TyAnne is still in high school, but is a Senior at Jasper High School. Not sure why she is still in school at age 20, but I am sure we will find out more about this later on as their relationship grows.

TyAnne told us that she is living with our neighbor Cindy Shat because TyAnne’s counselor thinks she needs to move out of her mother’s home and become more independent, not sure why but I am sure we will find out more about this later on too.
